Technology

Odone Angelo, after seventy years of continuous growth, can boast very advanced technical-productive potential. Over the years, it has made important and constant investments in research and technological innovation.
The most advanced technology is naturally associated with the craftsmanship, given by highly qualified workers, who every day contribute with passion to the business development.
Man and technology together, work in perfect balance to bring natural stone to its fullest expression.

Part of our technology:
Working centre for shaping, contouring, sawing and turning marble, granite, sandstone: the most advanced machine for complex processing.
Shapemill is a CNC milling centre designed for contouring, cutting and turning with six interpolated axes and a fixed work-table offering users the possibility of multiple and complex machining operations which would otherwise require several machines: shaping of blocks utilising a saw blade to obtain large size workpieces with complex shape, shaping and creating recesses utilising milling tools, contouring utilising shaped tools, cutting slabs into workpieces utilising a saw blade, turning of columns and sculpture.
The Maximum of Technology
Shapemill is equipped with a 3D assisted processing software, which, together with a simulator, allows us to view the finished work.
Combined disk and waterjet cutting centre for the production of cut to size slabs.
Combicut combines and alternates the cutting with disk and Waterjet according to preset programs and/or at will: this allows us to optimize cuts thus ensuring waste minimization (there is no need to move the slab or the workpieces).
It is also possible to perform complex rectilinear and curvilinear cuts as well as inclined cuts. Waterjet processing allows us to realize multicolour inlays between different materials. A camera installed on the machine also allows us to pre-visualize the exact cutting position of the pieces.
Combicut is equipped with a latest generation computer numerical control (CNC) with digital control.
Laser scanner Iris V2.3
The Iris V2.3 laser scanner allows to scan any type of slabs, obtaining very high definition images to support the customer in the materials choice and offering more detailed, precise, and reliable inspection.
Slabs scans are useful for creating more realistic renders with the selected material, and for allowing the study of cutting patterns without having to measure and photograph the slabs again.
In fact, we are able to provide a precise nesting to the customer, so they could see the project as it will actually be in reality. It further allows our operators to be more precise in cutting operations.
CNC contouring machine: ease of use and high productivity.
Contourbreton NC260 is equipped with a continuous numerical control (CNC) steering unit and uses a spindle, specifically designed to work stone, quartz and synthetic materials.
Ovals, ribs, special profiles, holes, sinks, furniture tops and much more. These types of realizations are part of his daily work.
